Studio photograph of a young boy, the Hon. Victor Agar-Robartes, later 8th Viscount Clifden, 1887-1974, standing next to a large seated dog, white with dark ears. He wears a frilled shirt with very large collar, jacket and buttoned breeches, white socks and pumps; his hand rests on the dog. A chair can be seen to the left of the photograph and the bottom step of a flight of carpeted stairs is on the right. Painted backdrop with urn. c.1891
