Summary
Photograph of the four youngest Agar-Robartes children taken in summer amongst rhododendrons and ferns. The Hon. Violet Agar-Robartes, 1888-1965, stands behind the Hon. Constance Agar-Robartes, 1890-1936, and the Hon. Cecil Agar-Robartes, 1892-1939, who are sitting on wicker chairs; and standing on the right is the Hon. Alexander Agar-Robartes, 1895-1930, wearing a dress and holding fern leaves in his hand. A picnic basket is on the left of the photograph. They are dressed as in LAN.PH.1535.28 and LAN.PH.1535.29 c.1898 Contained in a photograph album with front and back covers in tan fabric, the spine and corners of dark brown leatherette with gold tooling.

From photographs identified this album belonged to a member of the family and was a gift of the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
