Summary
Studio photograph of a dark haired young boy, Camborne, in pale shorts and sailor top with sash and a scarf knotted around his neck, standing beside an ornate wicker chair, his left hand is resting on the back of the chair and his left leg is crossed over his right. He holds something in his right hand and there is a hat on the seat of the chair. Curtain behind on left and a large townscape on right. See also LAN.PH.1525.35 and LAN.PH.1525.36 c.1870. Contained in a photograph album with front cover in leather embossed with diamond design in black with gold decoration, brass bound edges with knob for clip; the spine and back cover are missing.
Provenance
From photographs identified this album belonged to a member of the family and was a gift of the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
