Summary
Photograph of a young woman, possibly Philippa Dickinson, riding sidesaddle on grey horse standing on grass outside building. She is wearing dark riding habit with top hat. The shadow of the horse is visible on the wall. See also LAN.PH.1493.38. c.1862. Contained in a photograph album with front cover in leather embossed with diamond design in black with gold decoration, brass bound edges with knob for clip; the spine and back cover are missing.
Provenance
From photographs identified this album belonged to a member of the family and was a gift of the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
