Summary
Studio photograph of the side view of the head and shoulders of a young man wearing a bowler hat, a pale jacket with buttonhole and a spotted tie. There is the suggestion of a beard under his chin. c.1860. Contained in a photograph album with front cover in leather embossed with diamond design in black with gold decoration, brass bound edges with knob for clip; the spine and back cover are missing.
Provenance
From photographs identified this album belonged to a member of the family and was a gift of the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
