Summary
Studio head and shoulders photograph of a young woman, her hair parted in the centre and tied in chignon. She wears a ribbon with locket around her neck and drop earrings. c.1870. Contained in a photograph album with front cover in leather embossed with diamond design in black with gold decoration, brass bound edges with knob for clip; the spine and back cover are missing.
Provenance
From photographs identified this album belonged to a member of the family and was a gift of the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
