Summary
Studio photograph of a man standing by rustic fence with ivy either side and rocks bottom left. He wears a double breasted jacket, with dark breeches and knee-length boots with laces. His right forearm rests on the top bar as does his left wrist. Tree behind on right of photograph. Contained in a photograph album with front cover in leather embossed with diamond design in black with gold decoration, brass bound edges with knob for clip; the spine and back cover are missing.
Provenance
From photographs identified this album belonged to a member of the family and was a gift of the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
