Summary
Studio photograph of the Hon. Everilda Agar-Robartes, 1880-1969, as a girl sitting in a wicker chair outside Lanhydrock with a cat on her lap and her feet resting on footstool. She wears a coat trimmed with fur and fastened by double row of buttons, dark gloves and dark calf-length leather buttoned boots. She has loose shoulder length hair and wears a hat trimmed with bow and feathers. The chair is on a gravel path and a wall and rockery are visible behind. c.1890 See also LAN.PH.1 Contained in a mid-brown leather photograph album with gold tooled decoration on the spine and brass/gilt decorative corner pieces and clasp which can be tightened.
Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
