Summary
Photograph of a well-dressed man, C Prescott, in dark three-piece suit, dark tie and bowler standing in front of pleached trees, beech (?), stone wall and further trimmed hedge on top. Chateau de Compiegne just visible on left. He has a cigarette in his right hand and in his left has a pair of gloves and a walking stick. Compiegne c.1910 Contained in a rectangular album with green leatherette cover and brown leather spine.
Provenance
A family album, possibly belonging to the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
