Summary
Formal photograph of forty seven boys and young men with sixteen trophies on a covered table and on the ground. The nine youngest boys are sitting on the ground with ten young men on benches behind; the rest are standing. The Hon. Tommy Agar-Robartes, later Captain the Hon. Tommy Agar-Robartes, M.P., 1880-1915, is seated fifth from right behind the table, and his brother, the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, later 7th Viscount Clifden, 1883-1966, is in the back row, extreme left. Also in the photograph is Ludovik Heathcoat Amory seated third from left. See also LAN.PH.1497.8. Also LAN.D.70 which has the names of the boys beneath. Blurred trees and a wall behind. Contained in a rectangular dark red leather album with gold shield on front and gold letters 'F.G.A.-R./1896-1902'.
Provenance
This album belonged to the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
