Summary
Formal photograph of seven youths in garden of house with sash windows; four seated on bench with three others standing behind. All wear tailcoats and white ties, four have patterned waistcoats, five have flowers in their buttonholes and six have watch chains across their waistcoats. The Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, later 7th Viscount Clifden, 1883-1966, is seated second from left. See also LAN.PH.1499.23. Contained in a rectangular dark red leather album with gold shield on front and gold letters 'F.G.A.-R./1896-1902'.
Provenance
This album belonged to the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
