Summary
Photograph of four rowing skiffs side by side in full lock, nine young men in each boat wearing striped vests, blazers and caps, all looking towards the camera. A woman and a girl, both wearing boaters, with terrier and alsation are on the steps behind. The Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, later 7th Viscount Clifden, 1883-1966, is second from the left in the nearest boat, many of the crew having 'Hibernia' on their hat bands. Contained in a rectangular dark red leather album with gold shield on front and gold letters 'F.G.A.-R./1896-1902'.
Provenance
This album belonged to the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
