Summary
Formal photograph of eight youths standing with their arms linked all wearing white tie, a building behind with barred window and two corrugated-iron additions. The Hon. Tommy Agar-Robartes, later Captain the Hon. Tommy Agar-Robartes, M.P., 1880-1915, is standing third from right with E.G. St. Aubyn on his right. Ludovic Heathcoat Amory (?) stands third from left, with E.G. Martin on his right. Contained in a red leather album with gold shield on front with motto 'Floreat Etona' and gold letters 'T.C.A.-R./1894-1899'. c.1897
Provenance
This photograph album belonged to the Hon. Tommy Agar-Robartes, later Captain the Hon. Tommy Agar-Robartes, M.P., 1880-1915, whilst he was at Eton and was a gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
