Summary
Formal photograph of forty seven boys and young men with seven trophies on a table and on the ground in the centre. The ten youngest boys are sitting on the ground with eleven young men on chairs and benches behind; the rest are standing. The Hon. Tommy Agar-Robartes, later Captain the Hon. Tommy Agar-Robartes, M.P., 1880-1915, is standing second from left in the row second from the back. Trees and a wall behind. Contained in a red leather album with gold shield on front with motto 'Floreat Etona' and gold letters 'T.C.A.-R./1894-1899'. c.1896
Provenance
This photograph album belonged to the Hon. Tommy Agar-Robartes, later Captain the Hon. Tommy Agar-Robartes, M.P., 1880-1915, whilst he was at Eton and was a gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
