Photograph of a youth in riding clothes and holding whip, standing with a pack of hounds in front of a wall of vertical planks, partially covered in creeper without leaves. c.1898 Contained in a red leather album with gold shield on front with motto 'Floreat Etona' and gold letters 'T.C.A.-R./1894-1899'.
Provenance
This photograph album belonged to the Hon. Tommy Agar-Robartes, later Captain the Hon. Tommy Agar-Robartes, M.P., 1880-1915, whilst he was at Eton and was a gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
