Summary
Studio photograph, head and shoulders, of a youth, J.A.H. Hope, wearing open jacket and matching waistcoat, high collar and patterned tie. Shown as an oval in a brown/dark purple leather photograph album with heavy brass clasp containing photographs of Eton school boys. Some gold tooling and gold-tooled initials on the front cover, F.G.A-R. c.1900.
Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
