Signed studio photograph, half length, of a middle aged man with greying hair and moustache, Arthur Benson, wearing dark unbuttoned jacket and waistcoat with white bow tie. Tree trunk and creeper in background. Contained in a brown/dark purple leather photograph album with heavy brass clasp containing photographs of Eton school boys. Some gold tooling and gold-tooled initials on the front cover, F.G.A-R. c.1900

A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
