Summary
Studio photograph of two young women, one seated, right, and one standing reading a book, left. They are both wearing light coloured dresses and the woman on the right has a dark lace shawl. Draped curtain on right of photograph with carved piece of furniture. Plain wall and patterened carpet. Contained in a dark green leather photograph album with embossed design on front and back, containing twenty four pages, forty eight sides, with slip-in sections and gold printed borders. c. 1865
Provenance
This album was a gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
