Photograph of a long promenade, partially laid with paving stones with palm trees to the left and an ivy covered wall on the right, the sea beyond. A wall with railings and buildings behind can be seen on the far left of the photograph. Men and women with parasols walking and sitting on promenade. Contained in a dark blue cloth bound photograph album, textured to look like leather, the spine and corners in olive brown with gold tooling. c.1900n

A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
