Summary
Print, black and white engraving, Full Practice (after James Bateman) by Alfred Lucas (fl.1841-1886). Six terriers interested in something under an overturned wheelbarrow in barn. An overturned bucket and a curry comb are lying in the straw on the left, and a lantern and bridle are hanging above the barrow. Sheeves of corn pilled under window. Found loose in a tan leather photograph album with gold and dark brown criss-cross tooling on cover, now in Box 28. c.1900
Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
