Photograph of a view of the Baie de Garavan Anges with the sea on the right and cliffs sweeping round the bay with buildings on shoreline. Rustic seat and fence in foreground with overhanging trees, boats on beach below. Contained in a red leather photograph album with gold tooling on spine and front cover. c.1895
Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, 1883-1966, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953, and continued to live there with his sisters, Everilda and Violet, until his death in 1966. The family stayed at the Hotel du Cap Martin in Menton in 1914 from the end of February until mid April.
