Summary
An oval head and shoulders studio photograph of a man, Marwood Coad, with moustache wearing dark jacket and waistcoat with watch chain. Marwood Coad worked in the gardens at Lanhydrock and then as footman and butler until 1940. On grey mount. Pair with 888107, LAN.PH.291, Hester Coad, his wife.
Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953 and lived there until his death in 1966. Marwood Coad worked at Lanhydrock in the gardens and then as butler.
