Summary
Black and white photograph of a group of 16 men posed in front of the thatched pavilion at Lanhydrock. Twelve wear cricketing whites. (10 with striped blazers and some with matching caps). One wears an umpire's white overall. Two men wear dark jackets and flat caps, The Hon. Thomas Charles Agar-Robartes, later 6th Viscount Clifden, 1855-1930, is standing fourth from right and wears a dark suit and bowler hat. Marwood Coad, gardener, footman and butler at Lanhydrock from 1880-1940, seated second row, second from the left. Other people can just be seen inside the pavilion. Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
