Summary
Photograph of a smiling man with grey moustache wearing trilby and spotted tie with jacket, holding a rustic walking stick, standing outside beside table on which are seven silver trophies, four boxed medals and three show certificates of the British Dairy Farmers Association, Dairy Show, pinned to the front of the heavy tablecloth. A wire fence is on the left with shrubs behind. c.1940 On cream mount This man is also in photograph LAN.PH.492 and LAN.PH.467.
Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
