Summary
Double mounted studio photograph of young boy, the Hon. Alexander Agar-Robartes, 1895-1830, wearing lace trimmed shirt with deep collar, pale jacket and knee length buttoned breeches, white socks and dark pumps. He sits on a garden bench and holds a bunch of flowers, daisies and gypsophila, with some on the ground. c.1900 See also LAN.PH.22, LAN.PH.285.
Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953 and who continued to live in the house until his death in 1966.
