Summary
An oval studio photograph of a boy, the Hon. Thomas Charles Agar-Robartes, later 6th Viscount Clifden, 1844-1930, standing beside button backed leather upholstered chair. He wears a short jacket with paler waistcoat and trousers and a bow tie. His right arm rests on the back of the chair. c.1852 The mount has the remains of gold tape and there are two rings and string on the back.
Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
