Provenance
Probably a gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953. He and his two sisters, the Hons. Everilda and Violet Agar-Robartes, continued to live in the house until their deaths in the 1960's. Violet, in particular, was a very keen horsewoman.
