Summary
Portable lamp holder covered in green leather, two brass hinges. Front lens detached in box as well as green flex wire cord with wood/brass contact fitting at one end.
Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953. Object found in Captain the Hon. Thomas Charles Agar-Robartes' dressing case sent back from France after his death in 1915.
