Summary
A photograph of the view taken from the deck of a boat looking towards the bank of a river in town/city with a large church/cathedral in the centre of the photograph. Road between river bank and buildings with people and horses. Sloping jetty with white railings slopes from road to landing stage just out of sight. Contained in an olive green Kodak photograph album containing family photographs, c.1898
Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, 1883-1966, who gave the house to the National Trust in 1953 and continued to live there until his death.
