Summary
A photograph tooking across a river towards river bank with houses and hill beyond. A small sailing boat with three people and a single sail is close to the far bank. A bridge/aqueduct runs parallel to the river and is partially hidden by trees. The spire of a church is just visible on the left. Contained in an olive green Kodak photograph album containing family photographs, c.1898
Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, 1883-1966, who gave the house to the National Trust in 1953 and continued to live there until his death.
