Summary
Merryweather and Sons manual fire engine, c.1880, with ten-spoke iron-tyred wheels on un-sprung axles. Very simple fore-carriage with alternative shafts and T-handle for manual draught. With rigid metal and leather hose.

From notes in the Coach House file "this fire engine would appear to have come from Boconnoc, near Lostwithiel. It was then up at Arlington Court until brought to Lanhydrock on 21st October 1982.."
