Summary
Papier mache hand screen or fan, with painting of Lanhydrock c.1830, and a boxwood handle, which has a piece missing.
Provenance
Mentioned in a letter on file, dated 22.7.1968 from G.M. Trinick, mentioning this fan/hand screen as being shown in the Drawing Room on a Boulle writing desk along with other family items. Presumably acquired when the house was given by the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, later 7th Viscount Clifden, 1883-1966, in 1953.
