Summary
German (Alt Beck and Gottschalk) doll with bisque face and long dark brown hair (replaced). Limbs and body of composition with limbs ball and jointed with wood. Dark brown sleeping eyes with four teeth. Pierced ears with green earrings. Pantaloons, petticoat and dress all original; hat, socks and shoes are new. Long string of pearls. No. 1362 3 AB. 1853
Provenance
Purchased in Plymouth at Barbican Dolls and Miniatures on the 18th April 1984 and is one of eight bisque dolls given to the National Trust by Mrs. G.M.L. Unwin, 16 May 2002.
