Summary
Coat; Tailcoat - Black/very dark blue tailcoat with velvet collar and cream lapels, six monogrammed gilt buttons and two on each cuff. Moth damage and staining.
Provenance
acquired on transfer of the house to the National Trust. This coat is very similar to those worn in the photograph, LAN.PH.5214 or LAN.D.22 in the Lobby which shows both the Hon. T.C. Agar-Robartes and the Hon. F.G. Agar-Robartes as members of the Bullingdon Club at Oxford 1903.
