Summary
Silver coronet, red velvet with ermine trim topped with gold wire. Two integral hat pins. Silver mark 1902-3 and Henry Tessier, Court Jeweller's label. Kept in its wooden box, LAN.LU.126.
Provenance
This coronet worn by the Viscountess Clifden at the Coronation of King George V and Queen Mary on the 22nd June 1911. A gift from the 8th Viscount Clifden and sent down to Lanhydrock from Highclere, Surrey, 1974 together with Duke of Cornwall's stick and a pair of wall sconces which used to be in the End Room at Lanhydrock
