Summary

One of a pair of pewter Mappin and Webb meat covers.

Provenance

Probably a gift from Miss Betty M.C.Wynell-Mayow, Bray Stables, near Looe, 1976. Two letters on file dated 20 and 22 December 1976, relate to four meat covers given to the National Trust by Miss V.U. Gregory on behalf of Miss Wynell-Mayow who had talked of giving them to the Trust before she died July 1975.
