Provenance
A gift from Michael Holland Hibbert (Viscount Knutsford) whose father, W. Holland Hibbert, seen in group photo of the Atheneum 1914 in the Smoking Room, shot the stag in the forests of Glencarron and Glenuig (sometimes spelt Glenuaig), now merged as one forest, 50 miles from Fort William, Ross-shire.
