42-string, single action harp influenced by Erard. Fluted pillar with moulded plinth and capital. Black lacquered soundboard with border of cherubs and busts of men. Without strings.

By process of elimination, this could possibly be the harp given to Lanhydrock by Oliver Padel, collected from his mother in Highgate London, April 1978 and delivered to Lanhydrock on the 28th by John Julian and Co. See correspondence on Musical Instruments file.
