Summary
Serquet harp No. 816, with a simply-moulded plinth surrounding the base of a plain hexagonal pillar with a six-sided capital decorated with rosettes. Gesso mouldings on pedal box.
Provenance
A note on file shows that this harp was found in an outhouse and taken to Mr. Woodhouse, Porthpean in November 1971 to make presentable but not playable. In Andrew Garrett's report of 5.6.1984 it states that this harp survived the fire - could this be the Lanhydrock fire of 1881?
