Summary

Document - Illustrated Warrant by Garter and Clarenceaux Kings of Arms for Thomas James Agar to take additional surname of Robartes and to bear the Arms of that family. With seals and dated 1916. This warrant, on the advice of Nicholas Pickwoad, was mounted by James Cassells from Oakhampton and framed by Click Netherfield, Scotland. 2018.

Provenance

Acquired during transfer of the house to the National Trust. Lanhydrock was given by the 7th Viscount Clifden in 1953 and was lived in by a member of the family until the Hon. Everilda's death in 1969.
