Summary

Document - Illustrated Warrant to the lst Lord Robartes by Garter King of Arms authorising him to use supporters to his Arms. With seal and dated 1869. This warrant, on the advice of Nicholas Pickwoad, was mounted by James Cassells from Oakhampton and framed by Click Netherfield, Scotland. 2018.

Provenance

Acquired during transfer of the house to the National Trust. Lanhydrock was given by the 7th Viscount Clifden in 1953 and was lived in by a member of the family until the Hon. Everilda's death in 1969.
