Chrome plated soap dish from Asprey, Bond Street, with hinged convex top and bottom in a brown Asprey's toilet case with canvas lining, four canvas pockets with popper fastenings, and adjustable leather keepers in centre. Containing hinged soap dish, rouge pot, vaseline pot and toothbrush tin, LAN.M.697a-d, and an ivory handled razor and ivory handled hole puncher, LAN.V.116a-b
Provenance
Part of the contents of Captain The Hon. Thomas (Tommy) Agar-Robartes's dressing case (LAN.L.131) which was sent back from France after his death following the battle of Loos, September 1915.
