Summary

An elaborate inkwell consisting of a brass sphere mounted on three dolphins of ormulu resting on a circular Serpentine (onyx?) base. A small ormulu dophin knop. Removable ink top lid, well missing. The hinge is broken.

a gift of The Hon. Victor Agar-Robartes, 8th Viscount Clifden, see the March 1972 inventory.
