Summary
Stamped and gilt decorated faded red leather box in the shape of a miniature writing desk with a drawer in the back. 1900-1920. Interior of wood with seven dividers, the lid lined and stamped GREYFOUS - PARIS, LONDON, NEW YORK, the drawer interior also of wood with 4 compartments. Containing seal with letters EA-R and matching red and gilt handle (LAN.L.53b). Also candle and fixed gilt metal holder and a piece of sealing wax.
Provenance
Presumably belonging to The Hon. Everilda Agar-Robartes who lived at Lanhydrock until her death in 1969.
