One of two leather post bags/satchel inscribed Rt. Hon. Viscount Clifden, Lanhydrock on brass lock, with single shoulder strap, two fastening straps.

Provenance

a gift of Gerald, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave the house to the National Trust and who continued to live in it until his death in 1966.
