Summary
Hunning Scone wall telephone fitted with bell beneath and a bakelite and chrome handset hung on hook on left side. The front has a metal plate inscribed Hunning Scone, and is hinged and closed by small hook.
Provenance
Unknown, probably acquired with the house, but shown in a photograph of the Smoking Room taken by John Bethell in 1973, and also to be seen in a photograph in a Country Life article dated February 16, 1978, by John Cornforth.
