Summary
One of three ebonised bentwood child's chairs, English, circa 1880. Comprising a pair and an armchair, all with loose upholstered buttoned seat in blue fabric, each with arched tapered back and circular seat.
Provenance
Possibly a gift from the 7th Viscount Clifden who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953. A bentwood chair resembling this chair can be seen in a photograph at Lanhydrock of circa 1905 (see LAN.PH.179).
