Summary
A rosewood framed button-back easy armchair, English, circa 1860. Covered in rose velvet, the curved back and sides with scroll arm terminals, on moulded cabriole legs with castors.
Provenance
A gift of Victor Agar-Robartes, who became the 8th Viscount Clifden after the death of his brother, Gerald, in 1966. He never lived at Lanhydrock after that time, the house having been given by Gerald to the National Trust in 1953.
