Summary
Carved oak book rack with solid back, sides and base, the back carved with four rosettes and the ends carved in vertical patterns. On our bun feet. (Displayed with seven books, six with family inscriptions. For full list see cards).)
Provenance
Given to the National Trust by Mrs. Margaret Dyer, 8 Chapel Cross, Bovey Tracey, July 1984. A note in the Accession book at that time mentions that this was made by the Canon Yarde-Buller, married to The Hon. Mary Agar-Robartes, and possibly made of timber from Truro Cathedral and given to donor.
