Summary
An upholstered day bed or chaise longue, English, circa 1890. With raised end and shaped back-rest, on walnut tapering feet with castors,covered in buttoned floral linen with loose cover.
Provenance
Brought to Lanhydrock from Saltram (stores?) 1979. Sent to William Brown of Cullompton for re-covering. Material supplied by Michael Trinick and this also covered two tub chairs (NT 882790.1 & .2), 1979. Loose cover made in 2003 by Richard Hollister, Bodmin, with material from Inscape, Launceston, Cornwall.
